Can I update the device firmware remotely?

Yes. All Teltonika devices sold by TrackVision Tech support FOTA — Firmware Over The Air updates. Firmware can be pushed to any device remotely without needing physical access to the vehicle. This is particularly useful for large fleets where visiting each vehicle individually would be impractical, and ensures all devices always run the latest software with the most recent features and security patches.

Do you offer discounts for large fleets?

What warranty do the devices come with?

All Teltonika GPS devices sold by TrackVision Tech carry a 24-month manufacturer warranty covering hardware defects. The internal backup battery carries a 6-month warranty. Is GPS tracking legal for employee vehicles in Cyprus?

Yes, GPS tracking is legal for company-owned vehicles in Cyprus provided employees are informed in writing that a tracking device is fitted. Under GDPR and Cyprus data protection law, employers must disclose the use of vehicle tracking and state the purpose — typically fleet management, safety, or security. What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your tracking data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation. We recommend exporting any trip history or reports you need before cancelling.

Can I add or remove devices at any time?

Yes. You can scale your subscription up or down at any time. There is no minimum fleet size — you can start with a single device and add more as your business grows.

Is there a minimum contract length?

No. Plans are available on a flexible monthly basis with no long-term commitment required. Annual plans are also available at a discounted rate saving approximately 20%.

What is CAN bus and which of your trackers support it?

CAN bus (Controller Area Network) is the internal data network inside modern vehicles. Trackers with CAN bus integration can read engine RPM, real fuel level, odometer, speed, and dozens of other parameters directly from the vehicle's computer rather than estimating them. The FMC150 and FMC130 both support CAN bus data reading.

Can I monitor fuel consumption with GPS tracking?

Yes. Devices with CAN bus integration (FMC150, FMC130) read real fuel level data directly from the vehicle's computer. The platform also calculates estimated fuel consumption based on idling time, distance, and driving behaviour for all devices.

Can I use GPS tracking to prove a vehicle was somewhere at a specific time?

Yes. The platform records a precise timestamped history of every location. This data is admissible as evidence in insurance claims, disputes, and legal proceedings.

What is geofencing and how does it work?

Geofencing lets you draw a virtual boundary on the map around any area — a city, a depot, a client site, or a restricted zone. You receive an instant alert every time a vehicle enters or exits that boundary. It is widely used for anti-theft, curfew enforcement, and operational zone management.

Does the platform work outside Cyprus?

Yes. The platform and SIM card work globally. Whether your vehicle is in Cyprus, Greece, the UK, or anywhere else with mobile coverage, you can track it in real time from the same app.

Can multiple users access the same account?

Yes. Fleet accounts support multiple user logins with different permission levels, so a manager can have full access while drivers only see their own vehicle.

Can I set up alerts for speeding, harsh braking, or aggressive driving?

Yes. You can configure instant alerts for speeding, harsh acceleration, harsh braking, sharp cornering, excessive idling, and other driver behaviour events. Alerts are delivered via push notification or email in real time.

How far back does trip history go?

The platform stores up to 5 years of trip history, giving you a complete record of every route, stop, speed, and event for every vehicle in your fleet.

Which devices can I use to monitor my vehicles?

You can track your vehicles from any smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. The TrackVision Tech app is available for both iOS and Android, and the full platform is also accessible via web browser.

How accurate is the GPS tracking?

Our Teltonika devices achieve positioning accuracy of under 2.5 metres CEP in normal conditions. Accuracy may be slightly reduced in underground car parks, tunnels, or areas with very dense building coverage.

What happens if someone tries to remove or tamper with the tracker?

The device sends an instant tamper and unplug alert to your app the moment it detects disconnection or power loss. The internal backup battery continues transmitting location for a period even if the main power is cut.

Will the tracker work on motorcycles, boats, or e-scooters?

Yes. The FMC880 has an IP65 waterproof rating suitable for motorcycles and under-bonnet installations. We offer specific models for e-scooters and micromobility. Contact us to confirm the right device for your application.

Does the tracker come with a SIM card included?

Yes. Every TrackVision Tech device ships pre-configured with a global SIM card already installed. There is nothing to set up — buy the device, install it, and start tracking immediately.

What is the difference between the FMC003 and the FMC880?

The FMC003 is a plug-and-play OBD-II tracker — you plug it under your steering wheel and it's instantly working. The FMC880 is a hardwired tracker that connects directly to your vehicle battery, making it more discreet and harder to remove. The FMC880 is better for anti-theft; the FMC003 is better for quick portability between vehicles.

Can I install the GPS tracker myself?

Yes. The FMC003 plugs directly into your car's OBD-II port in under 30 seconds — no tools needed. The FMC880 connects to your vehicle battery using clamp connectors in under 5 minutes. No specialist knowledge or professional installer is required for either device.

Does the SIM card work worldwide?

Yes. The SIM card is global, allowing the device to track your vehicle anywhere in the world with coverage.

Do you provide API access?

Yes. Enterprise clients can integrate TrackVisionTech with existing ERP, CRM, or dispatch systems via API.

Can I choose monthly or yearly plans?

Is the tracker compatible with electric vehicles?

Do I need a professional installer?

Selected devices support relay-based remote immobilisation, allowing you to disable the vehicle safely in case of theft or unauthorised use.

Will I receive alerts if my vehicle moves without permission?

Yes. You can enable instant movement alerts, ignition alerts, and geofence breach notifications directly from the dashboard or mobile app.

Is the GPS tracker hidden?
